🕒 MGKA Time Attack – Saturday, January 31, 2026

Aloha MGKA Members,

Before we return to wheel-to-wheel racing, we’re putting together an exciting Time Attack practice event to get everyone back on track — literally — with some fast, clean laps.

This solo timed format gives each driver clear track space to chase their best lap time. It’s a relaxed and fun way to sharpen your skills and shake off the off-season rust — no race-day pressure, just pure driving.

Classes:

TAG Junior	320 lbs (IAME X30 Junior, Rotax Max EVO Junior)
TAG Senior	360 lbs (IAME X30 Pro, Rotax Max EVO Senior)
125 Shifter ROK	395 lbs
125 Shifter Stock Honda	375 lbs

Track Time:

• Karts will run together in a format similar to a race day qualifying session — racing the clock, not each other. Clear passing etiquette and spacing will be enforced to ensure clean laps.
• If turnout is high, we may split into two run groups to maintain safe and open track conditions.
• 5-minute warmup session.
• 3 sessions of 10 minutes each as time permits.

TAG Sr. – 11:20 AM

125 Shifter – 11:40 AM

Lunch (12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)

Open Practice (Club Members)

3rd Heats (10 minutes each):

TAG Jr. – 1:30 PM

TAG Sr. – 1:50 PM

125 Shifter – 2:10 PM

Awards: 2:45 PM

Open Practice (Club Members): 2:45 PM – 4:00 PM

⚖️ Rules & Requirements

• Karts must meet minimum weight per class (rules to be confirmed)
• Clean laps only – off-track excursions or spins will void the run
• Intentional blocking or impeding a faster driver is strictly prohibited
• Full safety gear and tech check required
• AMB Transponder timing
  – Bring your own or rent one at the event
• Envico SK-H2 “Blue” tires for all classes

No wristband or waiver required.

Hot Pits Access:
Only the driver and one crew member are allowed in the hot pits.
